PowerSchool ID Creation
Step 1: Enter your current sign in information
Username and Password are case sensitive.
Once a parent account has been created there is no need to create additional accounts for additional students. Simply add students using their AccessID and Access Passwords that were provided. Best practice is to copy and paste the Access Id/Passwords since several characters are hard to distinguish.
To create a parent account, click the "Create Account" tab. You will create your own username and password. If you have forgotten your password, please click on the Forgot Username or Password ? link and you will receive an email at the email address you used when setting up your account. If you did not receive a Parent Portal letter or have forgotten your child's Access ID/Password, please contact the school and ask for the Web Portal Letter. If you are experiencing difficulties with the PowerSchool application, please contact IT HELP DESK or call Shepaug Valley School technology department at 860-868-6220 during normal school hours.
Students
Students can enter their credentials directly into the fields above. If you have forgotten or do not know your password, please email IT HELP DESK or stop in the Shepaug IT office during the school day. Once your password is reset, you will be prompted to create a new one. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and cannot be the last password you used.Parents/Guardians
Parents/Guardians must enter the username/password made when creating your account.
